The year is 1999, Janne and Kristoffer Haust decide that it is time to create their own adventure. Because who does not love a challenge? Already a year later they presented a complete outwear collection with the brand Haust.

Let's go back some time. In the late 90s, the couple were on a trip to Portugal and visited a friend. At this time, they owned and operated a fashion store in Drammen, Norway. They were tired of the boring outerwear that dominated the market in Norway, so their friend took them to a Portuguese manufacturing factory that made outerwear. The couple were inspired by all the different colors and the exclusive qualities they offered. It was just a problem the fit of the clothes did not fit the Scandinavian woman. Therefore, Janne got the opportunity to make her own garments, and who would not accept it?

Janne became the designer and Kristoffer took care of the administrative. Without relevant education, it was learning by doing. Like I said before, who doesn't love a challenge? Together they made the brand Haust. As demand grew and the product range broadened, it was time to hire more people to share this adventure. Today, the company has a highly competent team, which they like to call the Haust family.

From the outset, the design has been concentrated around the Scandinavian woman and exclusive qualities. The couple travel around the world to secure and maintain their good relationship with all manufacturers and keep the brand up to date on the upcoming trends, so customers will love the products as much as they love working.
